A4 guides are one- or two-page technical or organisational factsheets which fit on one or two sheets of A4 paper, and which are created by the technical group at the MPI. They cover a wide range of topics: some of them explain step-by-step how to perform certain tasks using certain software; others, by comparison, focus more on the structure of the archive, or on technical phenomena.
