Google Public Data Explorer provides an interface for exploring, visualizing and sharing large datasets. Its interactive visualization tools enable changes to be tracked over time. Although primarily intended to enable non-specialists to interrogate public datasets, users can also upload their own data after describing them in Dataset Publishing Language (DSPL). The tool is in beta form.

TLA-team:  A free, open tool to make interactive graphics and maps. With the animated bar chart and the motion chart you can visualize changes over time. Links to concepts in other data-sets are possible. You can create datasets with metadata in any combination of language. Furthermore you can make your data mappable by adding latitude and longitude data to your concept definitions.
