batch run export command

Hi Everybody

I am using the Export As Tab-delimited text option in Elan 4.7.3 to export the files one by one as separate .txt files. I don’t use the Export multiple files option, because it saves them into one .txt file, that I don’t want.
I am using the following parameters to export one by one:

  • Select tiers: By Annotators : Annotator 1
  • Add master media time offset to annotation times
  • Separate column for each tier
  • Duration
  • msec

Now the question is: how can I bulk export them using the above parameters? How can I run a batch command under Elan?
Or how can I use the export multiple files option to save each file as a separate txt file?
Thank you for your assistance

Currently I don’t think this is possible.
For some multiple file export functions there is a separate step in which naming and the location of the exported files can be specified. Something similar could be added to the multiple file export to tab-delimited text as well.

So if it is not possible, then how can I use the export multiple files option to save each file as a separate txt file?
Currently, after specifying the domain where the files are, then it loads them, then after specifying the parameters, it saves them into one TXT file. How can I export them all together with the same parameters but save them separately in different output txt files?

Sorry for my ambiguous reply; the currently-not-possible (also) referred to multiple file export to separate tab-delimited text files.

So, the options within ELAN are either file-by-file export or the multiple file export and then manually split the resulting text file into separate text files (based on the file name or file path column).

yes, thanks. That is the only option left for me: to export into one file and then chop down the file into multiple files. Thanks.
