Coordinates output is incomplete (Hand tracker)

Hello,

I’ve found a problem with the hand tracking software, in a video 18 sec 24 fps containing 432 frame, the number of frames found in the coordinates file is 400.

I’ve corrected it by modifying the Skin parameters file span “end” attribute from 17.926 to 19 (this value is arbitrary maybe with 18 it would work too).

I’ve attached the video that was being problematic just in case you want to replicate the error, the parameter file as produced by skingui and the modified one.

I’ll just point out a minor detail, that is uncomfortable but far from critical for future releases, once you introduce xml parameter file for tracking you cannot change it, it produces and error, and it forces you to exit elan and begin again to change it.

Hi Luis,

the problem you mention is a well known bug, sometimes the last bunch of frames is not written in the output file. It will be fixed in the next release.

I did not understand what you mean when you say “once you introduce xml parameter file for tracking you cannot change it”. Can you be more specific, please?
