exporting translation-tier from several files

Dear wise Elan-team,

I’m working on sign language corpus, which includes 82 eaf-files, in total 2h28min of data. I would now like to export one tier from each off the tiles. This tier contains sentence level translations of the signed text.

I have been looking for right tool/command to do this, but has not yet succeeded. I found “export interlinear textfile”, which does exactly the thing that I’m looking for. BUT that operation can’t be done on domain-level, I mean for all of these files at the same time. Is there another solution for this? I tried several options from multiple file processing and export multiple files, but couldn’t find a way. If there is a way to do this, it would save me quite much time, when not opening and exporting the files one by one.

I appreciate very much all pieces of advices!

Yes, unfortunately there are still several export function that can only be applied on a file-by-file basis and export as interlinear text is one of them. I guess the export as tab-delimited text is the multiple file export that is closest in terms of format and layout.
I’m afraid that what you aim at is not possible without programming efforts.

Thank you for this answer.

Now I know that I’m not doing manually something that could have been done automatically. Makes it easier to do, on mental perspective
