Include other data streams (e.g. heart rate)

Hi,
I made some recordings of a person with an additional measurement of her heart rate. The plan is to annotate and analyse the behavior of this person. It would be great if there is any chance to include also the heart rate within ELAN (or another program), for example, to see the current heart rate while you are annotating.
The data of the heart rate is saved in an Excel file oder simple text file providing one value each second/line.

Do you know if this would be possible with ELAN or other program?

In ELAN there is a special viewer for sequential data or timeseries data, the Timeseries viewer, see this chapter of the manual.
If you can export/save the Excel file as tab-delimited or comma separated text, I assume it should be possible to visualize the heartbeat along the video or audio recording.
