Hi Han,
In ELAN 5.4 (and on my new Windows 10 machine), it appears that only the righthand one of two videos (mpeg1) is visible. At the location of the lefthand one there is a black square within a blue square. The other video becomes visible when I change the Master mediaIt doesn’t seem to matter whether I select JDS or QuickTime. However, when I change the extension of the files to mp4, both are visible. It this something than can be easily fixed on your part, or should the extensions of all video files be adapted?
Cheers,
Inge

Hi Inge,

I’m not sure if I can fix that; on my Windows 10 machine, two (or three or four) mpeg-1 files just all show up. So it doesn’t seem to be a general problem?
You mention changing the extension: is this another way of saying that you converted the files, or did you really just change the extension in the explorer? (I would strongly advise against the latter.)
In any case, which player is playing the files after changing the extensions?
In the 2 mpeg-1 files case, are there any messages in the log (View Log…)?
