Out of Main Memory

Hi,

I keep getting a message saying Out of Main Memory. I have around 117 entities so far and need to put a lot more yet. I’ve checked my computer and there is plenty of memory left, so I’m not sure how I am supposed to interpret this message.

At the moment, I’ve been restarting the program when I get this message, which seems to help for a little while. I’ve also been finding the program becoming very slow the more entities I put in.

Not sure if there’s much that can be done about the speed, but the memory message seems strange to me.

Any tips would be great!

Hi Alex,

Having 117 entities should not pose an issue, it should be fine with thousands so I will try to replicate the problem on my machine here. Have you noticed if the issue is related to the length of time the application has been open? Or is it more related to the number of actions performed while it was open?
Are you using the webstart version or one of the installers?

I will be compiling a testing version soon so hopefully we can identify and resolve this issue in that version.
