It seems that the ordinary search function is not available in transcription mode. Why is that?

Hi, the main reason for that is that, when the development of that mode started, the decision was made not to use the concept of the “active annotation” (in Annotation mode the dark blue highlighted annotation). In that other mode the “active annotation” connects different views and the media players etc. but also the search: clicking a hit sets the active annotation and makes the rest jump to that annotation and media position.
At this moment that jump from a hit to the right row in the transcription mode wouldn’t work. But we are planning to look into this again and see if the transcription mode can connect to this “active annotation” concept. Or at least to some extent, so that e.g. search can be activated (more meaningfully) in that mode as well.
