I have just started using ELAN to analyse videos of group discussions for my Ph.D project. However, I’m having endless problems with the sound becoming “jumpy”. I am using the function where I play the videos back at half speed (don’t know if this could contribute to the issues?) and I only get about two minutes of normal sound and then the sound starts dropping out. Is this something that others have experienced? Any pro tips for overcoming the issue? I’m using ELAN 5.0.0. Thanks!
Can you add some more information on the platform this is on and whether you only have a video file linked or also an (extracted) audio file? I’ve no immediate clue on what could be going on.
